Attended my childhood friend's ROM@Punggol Park... The time was 11.15am when I arrived. It was my 1st time to Punggol Park, the park was green & clean as compared to some other parks that I've been to and it gave me a very soothing & relaxing feel. Personally, I felt that the atmosphere would have been much more romantic and beautiful if the ceremony was held in the evening. The sunset...the lake, birds and trees... Awesome!

A colourful reception table: guests were to write their blessings to the couples on tiny stripes of coloured paper. See the glass bottle? The glass bottle will be filled up with those tiny stripes. The couple will bring home the bottle with the blessings from their relatives & friends...

Guests were to be seated on the table according to the colour of the flowers which they were given. See the yellow flower at the table behind? I was being allocated to sit over there with my friend's Secondary School Buddies & Uni Friends.

I was there alone as I'm the only childhood/primary school friend that my friend invited. It was so unlike of me but I went to approach one of my friend's uni friend and say Hi to him. Reason: I do not wish to be all alone throughout the whole ceremony! I dared to do so coz I recognised him and he seems like a friendly person. Initially I still thought that he was there alone but he was actually there with another lady who was helping out with the receptions. Thus on that day I made 2 new acquaintance. Both of them were very entertaining and luckily for them I was not bored. The bride and her family members were yet to be seen when I was there coz the bride was still dolling up@her godparents place near punggol park.

The helpers from the restaurant (BLISS) ...preparing for the buffet. The food was quite nice. They have cocktails, ham & egg salad, fried rice, gong bao chicken, sweet & sour fish, vegetables, finger food etc... about 6 main dishes were catered and some side dishes.

This is the handsome groom waiting eagerly for his bride to arrive... I guess he was making a call to ask the bride to hurry down. 哈哈. Look@how happy he is... oh ya the theme of their ROM ceremony is like a beach/garden feel so their dress code is a relax & comfy feel...

This is the table which the solemnisation will be taking place. The table was later scattered with some pink and red rose petals but I forgot to take a picture of the after look. The ceremony was schedule to start at 11.30 am but it the solemner, the bride and some guests were yet to arrive.

This is the moment...

They were declared husband & wife... Mr & Mrs Wong Rong Sheng. I feel so happy for them and so do their parents? I can see that the groom dotes on my friend alot, from that moment on my friend is officially someone else's wife! gosh...so unbelievable!

This is the little gift for guests. The lollipop & jam was a separate item but I put them together for this photo. Hoho ^.^

Like I said I have a family gathering after the ROM ceremony...and also like I said...whenever I have any plans it will get screwed up. This time round its not by me. Things weren't that good that afternoon. Some unforeseen circumstances crop up... my mom especially forgo her precious beauty sleep to prepare the lunch/dinner but wasted her effort just bcos someone could not make it! WTH... and that someone spoils the day, wasted my mom's time bcos my mom cook as she says she wanted to lao yu sheng... and finally that someone also breaks someone else heart...deeply. It was at night that I chatted with her... I roughly know her answers but I do not wish to see this happen. *DUMB ASS!*

Had a conflict with Ah Wu in the afternoon, 'partly' also bcoz of the lunch/dinner. I never meet him today. This gathering haiz~ anyway the conflict was resolved later@ the wee hours of the night while I was chatting with him. I dun feel good, and while I was chatting with him over the phone I cried. I cried bcos my heart is getting heavy. Alright I'm a cry baby can?! Things that happened around me more or less affects me though I do hope that I could take things easy. He wanna come over, I guess to console me but it was already so late I forbid him to come over. Hoho...
